Discover the world of sparkling wines
"Bubbles are always new," says American entertainer and bubble magician Tom Noddy. Perhaps that's the charm of bubbles for us. When they emerge from the bottle, they are as new as they are fleeting: full of joy, flavour and aroma. Champagne and sparkling wine are the perfect way to celebrate life! Seize the moment and enjoy every moment of it!
Champagnes and sparkling wines are more than just drinks - they are an invitation to indulge. Whether you're at a big party or an intimate rendez-vous, these light, bubbly drinks are the perfect way to toast to the moment.
Champagne can be enjoyed on its own. And in a meal, its place is at the beginning, the end and along the way. Everywhere. A suitable pair of flavours for champagne are small bites, which you can take as far as you dare: A small spoonful of berries. A little piece of cheese. A little bit of savoury food.
Sparkling wine also has the best place at the table. Dry sparkling wines go well with our favourite fish, salmon. Desserts, on the other hand, are best served with sweet sparkling wine. Rosé goes well with strawberries, cava tapas and crémant asparagus, and Prosecco - on its own. A fruity Prosecco is perfect for a summer picnic by the sea.
While champagne and sparkling wine are best served chilled, there's no need to chill them too much! The best qualities of champagne and cava are brought out at a temperature of 8-12 degrees, so it's the perfect temperature to enjoy them at! There are so many ways to enjoy bubbles! It's all about personal preferences, other flavours and temperature. But when everything works perfectly, it's incredible!
Sparkling wine and champagne are also rewarding companions for a brave cook. Pea soup flavoured with sparkling wine, or even a champagne cake, will certainly make an impression at a meal.
But the one thing that always goes well with champagne and sparkling wine is company. Sharing makes the bubbles taste better and the moment will be remembered for a long time.
Join us and let's toast to the enchanting drinks!
