At the Rauma shipyard, the newbuild No 6003 - Tallink’s newest shuttle vessel MyStar had to undergo a very extraordinary intermediate floating. Another vessel under construction at the shipyard, vessel Aurora Botnia, commissioned by Wasaline, was to be transferred to the equipment berth, and therefore MyStar’s hull was also to be floated at the same time.
读取更多 →The first keel blocks of MyStar are now ready and the construction of the ship’s hull started on Friday, 18 September 2020 at Rauma Marine Constructions shipyard. The first keel block of the new vessel was laid in keeping with the traditional shipbuilding ceremony. Keel laying is the second most important milestone in the shipbuilding following the cutting of the first sheet of steel.
