Changing and cancellations of bookings during covid-19 pandemic:
 

  • We will contact all customers affected by cancelled departures. You can check and update your contact details for current booking / ticket by visiting the "My Booking" section on our website. By doing this you ensure that we can contact you quickly when we need to.

ROUTES IN OPERATION: 

  • HELSINKI-TALLINN and v.v., several departures daily with fast ferries Megastar & Star
  • HELSINKI-TALLINN-HELSINKI  22h overnight cruise with Silja Europa
  • HELSINKI-STOCKHOLM: Daily departures with Silja Serenade and Silja Symphony
  • TURKU-ÅLAND-STOCKHOLM and v.v  daily morning & evening departures with Baltic Princess & Galaxy
  • TALLINN-STOCKHOLM with Baltic Queen, departure every other day

ROUTES PARTIALLY SUSPENDED (for regular passenger traffic): 

  • TALLINN-STOCKHOLM:  Victoria I is currently suspended from traffic until 8 April 2022. 
    Baltic Queen operates until 11.01.2022, last departure from Stockholm 10.01.2022, scheduled to start in Tallinn-Stockholm route from 18.02.2022, first departure 18.02.2022 from Tallinn
  • RIGA-STOCKHOLM: Estimated to open traffic in Spring 2022 April 6th with Isabelle.
  • HELSINKI-STOCKHOLM: Silja Serenade operates until 10.01.2022, last departure from Stockholm 09.01.2022, scheduled to start in Helsinki -Stockholm route from 25.03.2022, first departure 25.03.2022 from Helsinki

IMPORTANT TRAVEL ADVICE REGARDING COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
 

Due to covid-19 pandemic destination countries may have their own restrictions and conditions on entry for travellers. Please check the government websites if you are allowed to cross the border. Please note that travel restrictions are subject to change on a short notice. As a traveller you are responsible for ensuring that you fulfill the requirements of your destination and possible transit country. 

Be prepared to present one of these medical certificates:

  • Certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 (EU accepted vaccine)
  • Certificate of 1st jab of vaccination against COVID-19 (EU accepted vaccine) no later than 14 days before the trip
  • Certificate of a negative test result of COVID-19 infection no older than 72 hours
  • Certificate of recovery from COVID-19 within the past 6 months

Please note restrictions may vary depending on each country and  nationality.

From 1 December 2021, according to new COVID rules entering into force in Sweden and in order to help fight the spread of COVID-19, Tallink Silja will start checking COVID certificates from all passengers aged 18 and above prior to boarding for all vessels departing from Stockholm.  Passengers who are exempt from the pre-boarding certificate requirement, include Finnish and Estonian nationals who have the right to return home from Sweden, cruise passengers whose trip starts in Finland or Estonia, cargo drivers, diplomats, children under the age of 18.

  • The TERVISEAMET web service guides you filling in the passenger locator form before entering Estonia. From 1.12.2021 all persons entering Estonia must fill in the traveller’s questionnaire. The traveller’s questionnaire must be submitted within three days before arriving in Estonia: https://iseteenindus.terviseamet.ee/
  • From 26.08, wearing a face mask is mandatory in Estonia in those public indoor areas where COVID certificates are not checked, as a result of which it is also mandatory to wear a face mask in Terminal D.

  • The main advice from the local official health authorities is to follow extremely good hygiene practices - frequent and proper washing of hands, using disinfectants that are available around all our ships and hotels. It is recommended that all passengers wear a face mask in public areas on board and in the terminal. Also, the necessary safety distance to other passengers must be maintained. The face mask may be removed while eating and drinking, as well as in areas where there are no other passengers. 
  • Before purchasing tickets please make sure that you follow the regulations when entering the country at the destination and pay attention to possible self-isolation rules.
