Cargo Fuel Surcharge
A fuel surcharge model (BAF) was applied from 2 January 2023 for the Tallinn-Helsinki-Tallinn, Tallinn-Stockholm-Tallinn, Paldiski-Kapellskär-Paldiski, Helsinki-Stockholm-Helsinki and Turku-Kapellskär/Stockholm-Turku routes.
The validity of the fuel surcharge is 2 (two) weeks from Monday to Sunday. The fuel surcharge rate will be announced in a written statement on the Thursday before the start of the surcharge validity period.
Fuel surcharge calculations are based on the BRENT-crude oil USD/bbl. daily closing price. Source: Energy – Bloomberg. Starting point for the BAF is when the two weeks average exceeds 70 USD/bbl. If the 2 weeks average is measured to below 70 USD/bbl the surcharge is automatically removed for the following 2 weeks.
