The Smart Port system for passengers travelling with cars
A new Smart Port (Tark Sadam) electronic solution is in use in Terminal D at the Port of Tallinn for vehicle traffic management. With the electronic solution, automatic vehicle number plate recognition opens barriers to the port area automatically and electronic boards throughout the port easily guides drivers to the ships.

HOW TO GET THERE
From/to the airport
Tallinn Airport is located just 4 km from the city centre making the airport easily accessible. The airport has good public transport connection, offers sufficient access for taxies and provides plenty of options for parking your car. Check Tallinn Airport webpage for more information.
The terminal is approximately a 15-minute walk away from downtown Tallinn.
There are a taxis standing next to the terminal. Taxis have fare meters that show the fare, please make sure that the driver switches the fare meter on. We recommend the Tallink Takso. Tallink Takso has the newest cars, friendly and reliable drivers and a modern service center. Tallink Takso operator number is 1921. See more information: www.tallinktakso.ee.

Medicum coronavirus testing point is open to arriving passengers on the on the 1st floor of Terminal D. The test point is open only during the ships’ scheduled arrival time. Estonian residents arriving from risk countries as a country of departure or transit can do so free of charge on the basis of an Estonian identity document (Estonian citizen passport or alien (so-called gray) passport, Estonian ID card or residence permit card). For foreigners the testing costs 53 € and can be paid on the spot by card.
The coronavirus antigen test for outbound trips can be performed at the Terminal D, 2nd floor. It is necessary to book an appointment in advance for testing! The testing costs 49€. More information and booking can be done on the Confido web page
Please note that as of 4 August 2021 passengers travelling from Tallinn to Stockholm need to present covid health certificate before boarding. The requirement does not apply to residents of Sweden.
A comfortable sea voyage starts at the terminal! Tallink Lounge, on the 3rd floor offers passengers who have Business Lounge ticket to Star or Megastar, a convenient opportunity to wait for boarding in own area.
